The Mission of the Great Valley School District is to ensure that every student is inspired and prepared to be a passionate lifelong learner and a productive invested participant in the local and global community.
Great Valley Middle School’s fundamental purpose is to provide an outstanding academic experience in a safe, positive and caring learning environment. We want our students to have opportunities to explore, be challenged, and develop the intrinsic skills to be independent and successful beyond their middle school years.

Congratulations to the members of the GVMS Quiz Bowl team on their performance at the National Tournament in Chicago on May 9 and 10. The team consisted of 8th graders, Carter Bixler, Vrishank Cherukuri, and Abhinav Kotikalapudi, and 7th graders Hanna Fedekyo, Mihir Purkayastha, and Anahita Singh. After battling 8 tough, very close rounds on Saturday, they did not make the play offs. They returned on Sunday for the Consolation Bracket and secured 2nd place in their bracket. GVMS is very proud of these students and we wish the 8th graders best of luck in high school quiz bowl next year.
