The Mission of the Great Valley School District is to ensure that every student is inspired and prepared to be a passionate lifelong learner and a productive invested participant in the local and global community.
Great Valley Middle School’s fundamental purpose is to provide an outstanding academic experience in a safe, positive and caring learning environment. We want our students to have opportunities to explore, be challenged, and develop the intrinsic skills to be independent and successful beyond their middle school years.

Congratulations to the members of the GVMS Quiz Bowl Team on their outstanding performance on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Great Valley High School. The tournament was intended for high school aged teams, but the GVMS Patriots were invited to attend as well and rose to the occasion. Despite being the only middle school aged participants, the team consisting of Carter Bixler, Reyan Ghosh, Anahita Singh, Mihir Pilgaonkar, Riyan Gandhi, and Mihir Purkayastha , continued to impress their older opponents throughout the day and qualified for the Championship round, eventually earning 4th place in the tournament. Carter and Anahita were also recognized for their individual performances in the morning rounds of the competition. Congratulations to the entire team for a true group effort, with all team members contributing to points in the rounds.
