The Mission of the Great Valley School District is to ensure that every student is inspired and prepared to be a passionate lifelong learner and a productive invested participant in the local and global community.
Great Valley Middle School’s fundamental purpose is to provide an outstanding academic experience in a safe, positive and caring learning environment. We want our students to have opportunities to explore, be challenged, and develop the intrinsic skills to be independent and successful beyond their middle school years.

Congratulations to GVMS Robotics team 7517C for winning the Inspire Award at the 2025 VEX Robotics Middle School World Championships in Dallas, Texas. Team 7517C includes 8th graders Yazhini Ammatha Sathish Kumar, Jolie Hua, Danny Focht, and 7th grader Aarav Singh. The Inspire Award recognizes passion for the competition and positivity at the event with the team demonstrating passion and positivity, integrity and goodwill toward other teams, coaches, and event staff, and demonstrating effective communication skills, teamwork, professionalism, and a student-centered ethos. Congratulations, team!
